Ian has a wealth of experience in the insurance industry having worked in the insurance claims sector for 25 years at both large insurers and market leading insurance suppliers. Ian’s knowledge has been gained through a variety of roles including Field Operations Management, Supplier Management, Technical and most recently Client Relations and Business Development. Ian has managed relationships with some of the largest insurers in the market managing multi-million pound accounts.
Ian reports directly to Mark and will be working closely with him to develop and deliver Pact’s ambitious future growth plans.
Chirag is an experienced team lead with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry gaining his Masters in Computer Engineering in 2015. He is a strong engineering professional skilled in SQL, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Angular and Azure.
Chirag works very closely with our Head of Platform Pavan Singh implementing the high-level view of Pact. Chirag has been working with Pact since September 2021.
Chris has more than 50 years insurance experience, starting his career at Lloyds building up to Operations Director of Leslie & Godwin.
Chris, with investor Mike, co-founded Membership Services Direct (MSD) in 1984, which they subsequently sold to Liverpool Victoria in 2001, joining the Board as Group Exec Director for the £1B+ Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) & Life business.
He also co-founded AllClear Travel Insurance and became CEO. This business has now been sold to Private Equity (2017) and Chris remains a Non-Executive and partial shareholder. Chris joined Pact™ as Non-Executive Director in January 2018.
Mike is an Applied Physics graduate and MBA from the London Business School with an insurance career spanning over 40-years.
Mike co-founded Membership Services Direct (MSD) in 1984, which he subsequently sold to Liverpool Victoria in 2001 with partner Chris Wacey joining the Board as Group Exec Director for the £300M+ affinities business.
Latterly he co-founded AllClear Travel Insurance spotting the niche gap in the market for impaired travel insurance and became Chairman. This business has now been sold to Private Equity (2017) and Mike remains a Non-Executive and partial shareholder.
Mark has a wealth of entrepreneurial experience within adtech and fintech with the rare ability to turn ideas into real world businesses. He has more than 15 years’ finance, compliance & insurance experience starting his corporate career in 2004 at Aon Risk Management heading up their UK & US marine, non-marine, cargo and energy claims. With experience gained at Santander and Lehman Brothers, in November 2014 Mark sold his first fintech business.
Since setting up Pact™ in October 2017, Mark’s main focus includes; the growth of the team and there leadership, control of the overall product, whilst driving high-level sales for Pact™.
Steven is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Steven joined Simmons Gainsford LLP in 1991 previously working at BDO. He specialised in UK and International Taxation, major corporate restructuring and transactional business for more than 25 years. Steven has advised companies seeking a quote onto the London Stock Exchange, advised foreign Governments on restructuring their tax system, undertaken International structuring for multi-nationals and advised on complex transactions at both corporate and shareholder level.
Since leaving Simmons Gainsford LLP in 2017 as Managing Partner, Steven has focussed on Non-Executive and senior roles and is currently Chairman of an International payments company and holds senior directorships in several private companies covering Financial Services, Insurance Broking, Procurement Services, outsourced Debt Management, Human Resource Services and Renewal Energy Solutions and is Treasurer of a major Charity, Youth Aliyah Child Rescue.
Steven joined Pact™ in February 2020 as a Non-Executive Director.
Jamie has worked within Menzies LLP supporting start-up to medium size businesses accelerate, growth and scale their businesses. In May 2013 he joined Amplience as their Finance Manager where he was key in helping them through multiple rounds of funding and developing their international expansion. He is a Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Reporting directly to Mark, Jamie has built operational planning and financial control systems – ensuring these are closely monitored and compared against financial plans and budgets.
